    Job Requirements
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab
    • WV License required for Rad Techs
      Schedule Information
      • Monday - Friday 0700-1530
      • Weekend Requirement - RN's (Sat/Sun Weekends 0700-0700)
      • Call Requirement - RN's/response time Monday - Friday 1530 - 0700 (average 15 days per month)
      • Holidays covered by call 7-7 call
        Unit Specific Information
        • Charge Nurse: Resource nurse - flow of the day - assignments but will do cases if needed
        • Cath lab/IR Techs: CV Rad Techs Scrub/Monitor
        • Floating: Could be floated to Non-Invasive CV at times to start IV's
        • Floor specific orientation: 2 Shifts with a preceptor, then usually do a 'buddy call' for Cath Lab
        • Common cases (IR & Cath lab): All Cardiac Adults (peripheral, cardiac cath PCI, devices, only adults)
        • Additional Notes: ICD, pacers, not EP no ablations
        • Additional Questions: Familiarity with Acist injector (automatic - but not a deal breaker will teach it there) & must have experience with IABP, IVUS.
          Additional Details
          • ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) required
          • Submission Requirements: Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system
          • Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
          • Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
          • Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
          • Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply.
          • Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email
          • We are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens up
          • ALL SUBMITTALS MUST INCLUDE A UNEXPIRED COPY OF THE CANDIDATES DRIVES LICENSE
          • COVID VACCINE REQUIRED: Fully vaccinated means either 2 shots of Moderna or Pfizer or 1 shot of J&J; If a traveler wants to decline based on a Medical or Religious reason, please have them fill out the appropriate Exemption Form and email it to the address on the form.
