A company is looking for a Director, Middle Market Underwriting - Commercial Lines (Model Office Leader).



Key Responsibilities:

Define objectives and goals for the model office, including testing new processes and training staff
Assemble and lead a cross-functional team to design and implement the model office environment
Continuously monitor performance, conduct iterative testing, and maintain documentation and reporting


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
Completion of INS and/or AU designations; CIC or CPCU preferred
Typically ten years of commercial lines underwriting experience, with middle market experience preferred
Significant business management and people leadership experience
