  • Job Overview: Responsible for performing general Xray studies, OR cases, and fluoro cases.
    Job Requirements
    • Required Certifications: BLS, WV Xray License
    • WV CARES REQUIRED PRIOR TO START
    • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must be able to function in all areas including General Xray, Portables, OR, & Fluoro
    • Will accept first time travelers
      Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 2,2,3 shift between 2 teams
      • Day Shifts: 06-230, 0630-3, 8-4:30, 9:30-5
      • Afternoon Shift: 2:30-11
      • Midnight Shift: 12-8
      • Weekend Requirements: EOW
      • Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation
        Unit Specific Information
        • Staffing: 6-7 Techs 0600-1700, 3-4 Techs on Evenings, and 1 Tech on Midnights
        • Will float between general department, fluoro, & OR
        • Department specific orientation: 5 shifts with a preceptor; mix of day shifts and afternoon, start time between 6am and 830am for the days. Afternoon is 230-11, weekdays and every other weekend
          Additional Details
          • Common types of imaging/studies performed: General Xray studies, OR Cases (cystos, ortho, GI), Fluoro cases (ortho & GI)
          • Average # of scans/studies per day: 110/day
          • Department Specific Equipment: C-arms OEC, Portables-GE AMX with DR-Konica, Diagnostic Rooms-Del Medical, Siemens, Philips
          • Radiologist in-house 24/7 until 5pm, then on call More...
