TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Weirton, West Virginia, 26062 Pay Information $2,218 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Critical Care Unit (CCU) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, including weekends as scheduled Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years in ICU License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 3 years of ICU experience - Proficiency with balloon pump - Comfort with vent management and drip titration Job Description: - 10-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2-3. - Common patient cases include respiratory distress, post-arrest, acute myocardial infarction, balloon pumps, ventilators, and vasopressor support. - Required to titrate drips such as vasopressors, levo, neo, epi, nitro, heparin, angio, and more. - Charge nurse takes a full patient assignment. - Nurse aides/patient care techs available from midnight to 7 PM. - Hospitalist and Intensivist on-call at night; night-time noturnist covers the entire hospital. - Respiratory Therapists are present 24/7, assigned to multiple units. Nurses must troubleshoot respiratory equipment when necessary. - No telemetry/monitor techs, nurses required to read and interpret telemetry strips. - Allows self-scheduling with a 4-week schedule that is subject to finalization. - Expected to work every other weekend.
