  • Provides critical intensive care to Medical, Surgical, and Cardiac patient population. Provides therapies included but not limited to: Administration of vasoactive drugs, respiratory/ventilator support, management of cardiac status with continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, parenteral and enteral nutritional support, temporary transvenous pacing, Intra Aortic Balloon Pump Therapy, thrombolytic therapy, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), peritoneal dialysis, and acute hemodialysis performed by a hemodialysis nurse.
  • Assesses unit, patient and staff.
  • Plans for meeting the needs of the patient, staff, physicians, and hospital.
  • Performs management duties for units under their supervision.
  • Evaluates the assessment, planning and intervention process

  • Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of patient served.Minimum EducationGraduate of a Program in Discipline RequiredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
