Trained Medication Aides, also called TMA's, are an integral part of a resident's return to daily activities by providing support, care, and administering medications.Position: Trained Medication Aide (TMA)Responsibilities include:Providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) by assisting with any and all needs the residents may have, including but not limited to activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, toileting, and eating while not handling medications.Maintain a consistent charting rhythm with all residents in their care, following the medication administration requirements for each individual resident.Reporting to their wing or charge nurse any changes in the resident needs or condition.Follow all facility policies and procedures with regards to the safety and security of themselves, the residents, and any guests.Treats all residents with respect and dignity.Follows the instructions and direction from leadership as well as working in conjunction with other floor staff including nurses and other aides.Qualifications:Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate active in the state of Wisconsin .Current Trained Medication Aide (TMA) certificate active in the state of Wisconsin.High school graduate or equivalent.Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job without harm to self or others.Ability to understand and follow TMA work assignments.Ability to work as part of a team with fellow TMA's and other staff.Benefits :Depending on the employment status, candidates who join Edenbrook and provide a top resident experience can expect competitive wages and the following benefits package:Health, Dental and Vision benefitVacation/Holiday/Sick timeTuition Continuing Education Reimbursement Program401kShift DifferentialReferral BonusSupportive working environment and culture#INDOSHNURSE More...
