ABOUT THE ROLEThe Infrastructure Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and maintenance of Drexel's growing property portfolio. This role involves managing property acquisitions, construction projects, and building maintenance to ensure the company's infrastructure aligns with its strategic goals. What You'll Do: - Strategize property opportunities by evaluating properties and engaging with municipal officials, banks, surveyors, and city municipalities to facilitate land acquisition and obtain the requisite permits and development agreements
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of construction projects, including new building construction, renovations, and expansions
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance plan to preserve the value and functionality of the company's real estate assets
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Oversee vendor relationships and contracts for maintenance services.
- Enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of existing facilities by optimizing their utilization
- Manage facility operations, including space allocation, lease administration, and energy management. Collaborate with departments to address facility-related needs and issues
- Prepare and analyze in-depth financial reports related to real estate investments and operations
- Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation of real estate transactions and projects
- Collaborate with legal counsel on property-related mattersWhat You Need:
- Experience in real estate, building industry, or a similar field
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Ability to communicate well with others and work independently
