Position: Field Service Lead Location: Germantown, WI Job Id: 4238 # of Openings: 1 Furey Filter & Pump is looking for a Field Service Lead to join our team in Germantown, WI! As a Field Service Lead you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment across all the different product lines that the Furey represents. They are key to differentiating our company from others in the industry by providing quick repair turnaround and quality service. This individual is required to maintain a professional demeanor, because of the high customer visibility while performing on-site repair services. This position reports directly to the Service Manager. What You'll Do: - Pick up and deliver equipment to customer locations
- Perform tear down, inspection, reporting, cleaning, reassembly and testing of equipment
- Ensure that the work and components used in service are in compliance with manufacturer specifications
- Read and interpret schematics for assembly, repair, and reassembly as required
- Provide technical knowledge to customers in all aspects of inspection, repair, installation, alignment and start-up of equipment
- Installation and set up new equipment
- Prepare Service Reports detailing service call, parts used, rental equipment, labor and all associated costs
- Complete expense reports for on-site services provided
- The Field Service Lead will have field service technicians reporting to him and will be responsible for assigning schedules to those technicians
- The Lead will correspond with customers to schedule projects, plan work scopes for projects, and build PMU's for projects
- Attend factory and in-house training to develop and maintain proficiency
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Need: - High school education, or equivalent required
- Engineering Degree preferred or Associate's degree/certification in mechanics, or equivalent years of experience preferred
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude and be capable of using shop equipment
- Capable of utilizing measurement/testing equipment
- Multi-tasking capabilities
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination
- Capable of performing the physical labor associated with job responsibilities
- Great customer service skills
- Capable of working independently with little or no supervision
- Must hold a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Willingness to travel
