<span>An industry leading financial services company is looking for a hands-on Security Specialist to join their team in a permanent role in West Allis, WI. The Security Specialist position is ideal for someone either with 2+ years of experience in security or an individual with a networking background and an interest in expanding into security. The Security Specialist will need to have great communication skills and be comfortable in a team atmosphere.<br> <br> <br>Responsibilities: <br> <br>• Establishes, plans, and administers, under the direction of the VP of Information Technology, the overall policies, goals and procedures for the information security function. <br>• Initiates, implements and develops information security and disaster recovery programs in accordance with organizational information security standards. <br>• Performs and evaluates information risk assessments on a regular time schedule and promotes information security awareness within the organization<br> <br>Scope: <br> <br>• Develop and maintain a process to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks that have the potential to jeopardize the security of the institution’s information assets. <br>• Identify risks that threaten information security in accordance with the institution’s overall information security strategy. <br>• Coordinate, investigate and conclude on information security incidents. <br>• Monitor and analyze information regarding threats, vulnerabilities and actual attacks on the institution and use this information to update risk assessments, policies and controls.<br> <br> <br>The technologies used include:<br>• Telnet software<br>• AIX IBM LPAR <br>• MS Win 7/SQL Server<br>• MPLS Mesh network<br>• Cisco Routers/Switches<br>• VOIP<br>• Fortinet FW<br>• 4 VLAN<br>• EMC Config.<br> <br>This great position will not last long!
