Pediatric opening near the Twin Cities_x000D x000D_ - Located in Baldwin, WI - St. Paul 25m, Minneapolis 50m_x000D_ - Full-time, permanent position_x000D x000D_Our ideal candidate will help with all aspects of care, including treatments and consultations as part of a physician/advanced practice provider team. The Physician will work in outpatient setting and will practice independently. The Physician will be included in the Newborn/Pediatric Call rotation on the inpatient unit._x000D x000D_Essential Duties and Responsibilities:_x000D_ - Provides clinical care for pediatric patients;_x000D_ - Completes comprehensive patient assessments;_x000D_ - Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness;_x000D_ - Orders and interprets medical diagnostics;_x000D_ - Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy, and medical equipment;_x000D_ - Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care;_x000D_ - Refers for specialty care when determined;_x000D_ - Promotes communication within the team and other interdisciplinary health care staff;_x000D_ - A patient-first approach, working towards increasing access for community;_x000D_ - Works with administration for program development;_x000D_ - Demonstrates awareness, understanding and respect of cultural diversity and patients of all ages and socioeconomic groups and other duties as assigned._x000D x000D_Qualifications:_x000D_System expects employees to understand and to incorporate the values of our organization in their day-to-day practice.
