The department's primary function is to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Catalent's internal financial controls. This includes monthly financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement analysis, and updated financial forecasting. The Finance department works closely with both internal and external financial auditors to perform tests of internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and GAAP. These activities are performed on an interim basis throughout the year and again at fiscal year-end.This is a full-time on-site salaried position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmCatalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality and--compliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer, and Catalent employee.--The Role: -- - Support our Shared Service Accounts Payable model to ensure on-time invoice payment
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between Purchase Order, Receipt & Invoice
- Implement effective controls at the site level for purchase order & receipt compliance
- Partner with procurement to align on Purchase Order creation strategy
- Execute payment via virtual credit cards for certain vendors
- Prepares appropriate journal entries that ensure an accurate and timely close process per corporate timelines & procedures
- Tracks project costs & record to appropriate P&L accounts

- Must have an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2+ years' experience
