Position Title: Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) or Physicians Assistant (PA)Location: Upland Hills Health - Mineral Point, Montfort & Highland Clinic LocationsRole & Department: APNP in the Upland Hills Health Outpatient Family Practice ClinicsHours & Shift: Full-time (1.0 FTE) day shift position, Monday through Friday scheduled hoursRole Responsibilities:Candidates will serve as an Advanced Practice Family Nurse Prescriber or Physicians Assistant at the designated UHH clinicsThe APNP or PA will work under the supervision of the collaborating physician and in collaboration with the clinic management teamWill provide primary health care and specialized health services to individuals, families, groups, and communities on an outpatient basisWill provide initial and ongoing assessment of patients' and residents' medical, physical, and psychosocial status to provide preventative and medical necessity measures to meet their health care needsWill work within the legal and ethical guidelines of the State of Wisconsin as an Advanced Practice Nurse PrescriberQualifications:Candidates must have a Master's Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner or as a Physicians AssistantCandidates must be licensed in the State of Wisconsin as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber or Physicians AssistantHave the National certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or Physicians Assistant credentialing bodyHave a current Certification with the Drug Enforcement AdministrationCandidates should have ACLS, PALS, NRP and BLS certifications or a willingness to obtain themPrior experience with the Microsoft Office Suite software programs is beneficialPrior experience using the EPIC medical record system is preferred but not requiredEmployee Benefits: Comprehensive benefits packages available for both part and full-time employees!
