Our modern facility includes a complete in-house tool and die department and fastener distributorship. JOB DESCRIPTION: 1st shift: Monday through Friday 7am-3pm SUMMARY We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing maintenance and repair of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on production machinery, electrical systems, and other equipment within the plant. You will play a key role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while minimizing downtime. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES - Repair all production equipment and plant equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems during production.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of production machinery, and other mechanical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and ensure long-term reliability of equipment.
- Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Assist in installing new machinery or equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
- Stay current on new technology and best practices related to equipment maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery and electrical systems.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and the ability to work safely with equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
