Responsibilities

• Perform startup/shut down procedures at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Rotate job responsibilities within shoe department
• Select and hang appropriate parts on the automatic conveying system.
• Load/unload parts from the automatic conveying system.
• Visual inspection of work to ensure company quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work are per 6s guidelines.
• Ability to fill out quality checklist and shoe log.Experience and Skill Required
  • Sufficient education or equivalent education, training and experience to understand simple to moderately complex instructions regarding the operation of a production machine.
  • Ability to read and interpret production schedules.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented with time management skills.
  • Ability to document and record basic information.
  • Knowledge of and ability to solve problems that have standard solutions.
  • Basic problem-solving skills.Physical Requirements:
    • A 40-hour work week (Monday through Friday).
    • Overtime may be required as needed to meet production demands, including working Saturdays.
    • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and stretching.
    • Must be able to regularly lift up to 35 pounds at a time, including up to 50 pounds with assistance.Benefits
