Work Schedule: 100% FTE; Monday - Friday, Day Shift. 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay: - This position may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

We are seeking a Biomedical Engineering Technician III to: - Maintain clinical equipment through the effective use of the UW Health Medical Equipment Management Plan and ensuring the quality of work standards of the other Biomedical Engineering Techs in the department.
- Demonstrate a mastery of skills and tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex biomedical equipment.
- Educate others including clinical staff related to the technical integration, operation, and maintenance of the device/system.
- Train employees the correct protocols for utilizing the department's computerized maintenance management system/database (CMMS).
- Be responsible for providing reports to department leadership regarding productivity, benchmarking and asset disposition.

Qualifications - Associate's Degree of Applied Science in HTM / Biomedical Engineering or Completion of DOD Biomedical Technician training. 4 years of previous Biomedical Engineering Technician experience in lieu of education, in addition to experience below Required or
- Bachelor's Degree of Applied Science in HTM / Biomedical Engineering or Completion of DOD Biomedical Technician training. 4 years of previous Biomedical Engineering Technician experience in lieu of education, in addition to experience below Required
Work Experience - 3 years previous experience as a Biomedical Technician in a Healthcare setting Required
- 8 years previous experience as a Biomedical Technician in a Healthcare setting Preferred
