Capstone Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dodgeville, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit

- Shift: 12 hours, evenings, nights
- Employment Type: TravelCandidates with a permanent address within 100 miles of facility will not be considered for this role.
Additional requirements:
Minimum of one year of experience in a similar setting is required
Active Wisconsin or compact state RN license
ACLS, BLS, PALS
COVID Vaccine required
Additional information:
- # of beds: 3-Beds
- Ratios: 1 RN to 2-3 patients
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Afib-RVR, DKA, Alcohol withdrawal. Covid pneumonia.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Titrate drips, cardiac monitoring, management of respiratory support systems
- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: cardizem and insulin
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes
- Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: No
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: No
- RT in ICU 24/7: No
- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Available
- Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?: Yes, RN's read their own strips
- Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts, 0600 - 1800; 1800 - 0600
- Weekend Requirement: Weekends would be rare
- Holiday Requirement: Holidays would be rare
- Is there a call or standby requirement?: No call or standby requirement
