A company is looking for a Billing Advocate to manage claims submission and follow-up for inpatient and outpatient services.



Key Responsibilities

Process and submit claims to government payers, ensuring all necessary documentation is included
Verify eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements for each claim submitted
Follow up on claims status, addressing any denied or underpaid claims as necessary


Required Qualifications

High School diploma required
1+ year experience in hospital or professional claim billing and follow-up preferred
1+ year experience with electronic medical records systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) preferred
Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, and Exchange email required
