  • Tele/Stepdown RN position at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center
  • Thirteen week assignment

    Job Requirements
    • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
    • Preferred: NIHSS
    • Experience with pre/post heart patients - stents, pacemakers, ICDs, CABG, vascular experience
      Schedule Information
      • 12 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM
      • Block scheduling allowed, more common on nights
      • Self-scheduling allowed
      • Weekend Requirements: Every other or 4 weekend shifts a month
      • Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday rotation
        Unit Specific Information
        • Monitor techs on the unit handle monitoring and documentation
        • Nurse Aides on this unit with ratios of 1:8 on days and 1:12 on nights
        • Unit/Department Specific Orientation: 2-3 shifts
        • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
          Additional Details
          • Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from the facility location
          • Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:4 days and 1:4-5 nights
          • Common diagnosis/types of patients: pre/post cardiac procedures, heart cath, CABGs, stents, trachs, chest tubes
